20 October : The Big Splash!

2021 is a special year for Belgian soundtrack connoisseurs. Not one, but two new record labels for homegrown film music have entered the scene: Pool Needle and Sonhouse Records. This Wednesday (20 October) we are joining forces to bring you a Belgian film score packed day.

10:00 Film Festival Gent - Panel Talk and Launch

As part of the official Film fest Gent programma Robin Broos will host a Q&A at 10:00 am with the founders of the new labels and several guests. Guests include composer Raf Keunen (Rundskop), director Gilles Coulier, composer Liesa Van der Aa (Cargo), composer Jimmy Dewit (Callboys) and creators Dominique Van Malder and Wannes Destoop (Albatros). DJ/producer Cellini will unveil a top secret project. Three new titles are being released that morning! One is the amazing score to Rundskop/Bullhead by Raf Keunen with new unique artwork by Laurent Durieux.

15:00 Signing Session at Music Mania Gent

20 October marks the store release date of Yummy! We are bringing director Lars Damoiseaux and artist Caroline Vermeir (Studio Caro) to Music Mania for a unique signing session (each customer will get a free Yummy poster!). As a bonus Jimmy Dewit (Callboys composer) will be present with a small goodie. And our friend at Sonhouse Records will be holding a signing session of the Albatros release at the same time.

21:00 Waves in Motion Party at Ventura Gent

The audience is listening and dancing. To top this all of we are holding a party at the Vrijdagmarkt in Ghent (café Ventura). Several dj's on the line-up including Jimmy Dewit and Robin Broos who will be playing a soundtrack inspired tracklist. Stick around till the early hours and you'll also be able to see who the special guest is!
